The control unit SOFT & CLEAN used in MegaCHAR periodically flushes the filter layer of sediments that may impede absorption of organic matter. Two years after the installation the MegaCHAR should be checked for efficiency. The MegaCHAR owner will be registered with the company and every two years will be notified of the need to inspect and maintain the household water purification system by an Aqualife specialist.

The set of AquaLife pouring type filters consists of a column (container), the pouring matter (filter), an automatically controlled valve, and the equipment and regeneration agents.

Iron-filters. Filters of this type are mainly intended to remove iron and magnesia from the water. Various natural substances such as magnesium dioxide (BIRM, GREENSAND, etc.) are used as filters. Magnesium dioxide acts as a catalyst for oxidation, when iron and/or magnesium that are dissolved in water crystallize and form a residue, which stays in the filter and is later washed into the drainage. During the oxidation of iron and magnesium some filters also effectively remove hydrogen dissolved in the water. Some filters require potassium permanganate regeneration.
